Questions

How does PlantoScan know when I should plant?
The planting calendar uses the average frost dates for your location. From those it works out when to sow indoors, sow outdoors, plant out and harvest each crop. It works worldwide, not only in the US.
How do frost alerts work?
PlantoScan checks the forecast for your location and warns you before a frost night, so you have time to cover or bring in tender plants. On iPhone, the countdown to a frost night can also show as a Live Activity on the Lock Screen.
Can PlantoScan tell me what's wrong with my vegetables?
Yes. Take a photo of the affected leaves or fruit and the health check shows the likely cause, whether a disease, a pest or a care problem, with step-by-step treatment. You can ask follow-up questions in the AI plant chat.
Is PlantoScan free?
Yes, PlantoScan is free to download on iPhone and Android. PlantoScan Premium unlocks the premium features as a weekly, monthly or yearly subscription (the yearly plan with a 7-day free trial) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
