Health check and diagnosis

Snap the problem and get a health score, the issues detected and the likely cause, whether a disease, a pest or a care mistake such as overwatering.

Step-by-step care plan

Every diagnosis comes with clear next steps: what to change in watering, light or feeding, and how to treat pests or disease.

AI plant chat

Tap “Ask about this plant” and ask anything, from why it's drooping to when to repot. Answers take the plant's details into account, and you can attach a photo.

Questions

How does the PlantoScan plant doctor work?
Take a photo of the affected part of the plant. The health check gives a health score, lists the issues it detects with their likely cause, and suggests step-by-step treatment. You can then ask follow-up questions in the AI plant chat.
What problems can it detect?
Common diseases such as leaf spots, mildew and rot, pests such as spider mites and mealybugs, and care problems such as overwatering, underwatering, too little light or nutrient deficiency.
Is the AI plant chat a replacement for an expert?
No. It's a quick, knowledgeable second opinion for everyday plant care. For valuable plants, crops or a problem that keeps spreading, ask a local nursery or plant specialist.
Is PlantoScan free?
Yes, PlantoScan is free to download on iPhone and Android. PlantoScan Premium unlocks the premium features as a weekly, monthly or yearly subscription (the yearly plan with a 7-day free trial) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
